These terms explain what you're buying from Color Picks, how it's made, and what happens if something goes wrong. By placing an order, you agree to them.

What you're buying

Color Picks sells a custom, made-to-order photo book: a 44-page, 8.5×11 paperback that pairs 20 of your own photos with 20 matching coloring pages and one connected story built around them. Every book is one-of-one. It's built specifically from the 20 photos and details you provide, and it is not a stock or pre-made product.

How it's made

Your book is made entirely by AI. AI writes the story, using your photos and what you tell us about the people in them. AI generates each of the 20 coloring pages from your original photos. No person edits your book by hand, and there is no human review step.

Before anything is sent to print, an automatic AI quality check reviews every page and the full story for basics like clean line art, correct names, and no blank or garbled pages. If a page fails that check, it's automatically redone and checked again. What passes the check is what gets printed. There is no customer revision round — you approve the overall style with your free sample before you pay, and the rest of the book follows automatically from that.

Because the process is automatic, results can vary in ways a human editor might otherwise catch. A page may look imperfect. Faces are rendered as stylized line art, not photorealistic likenesses. The story is AI-written from what you tell us and may not match every detail of your photos or memories exactly. These are normal outcomes of an AI-made product, not defects.

No refunds, no cancellations after payment

All sales are final once payment is made. We do not offer refunds or cancellations after you pay, for any reason other than the print and delivery problems described below.

We price and process your order as a custom good: production starts automatically as soon as you pay, using the photos and details only you provided. Because your book can't be resold or reused for anyone else, we can't accept returns or reverse a completed order.

Please review your free sample carefully before paying — it's your chance to confirm the style before your book is built.

Print and delivery problems

If your book arrives misprinted, damaged in shipping, or never arrives, we will replace it with a reprint through our print partner — not a refund.

To request a reprint, email support@color-picks.com within 30 days of delivery (or, for a lost order, within 30 days of the expected delivery date) with a description of the problem and photos of the damaged book or packaging where applicable. We'll work with our print partner to get a corrected copy printed and shipped to you.

A book that arrives later than estimated but in good condition is not a defect; if a book has not arrived within 30 days of the shipping notice, contact support@color-picks.com and we will check with the carrier and, if it is lost, reprint it.

Your photos and content

You confirm that you own the photos you upload, or have permission from the people in them (or their parent/guardian, if a child) to use them to create this private book. You're responsible for the content you provide, including photos, names, and the story details you give us.

Don't upload photos or content that are illegal, harmful, or that you don't have the right to use. If we identify a problem with your content before production begins, we may decline to process your order and refund your payment. Once production has started, the no-refund policy above applies.

Privacy

Your photos are private. We use them only to build your book. We never display them publicly, never share them beyond what's needed to produce and ship your order, and never use them to train AI models.

We keep your photos only as long as needed to make, ship, and support your order, and delete them on request — email support@color-picks.com any time to ask us to delete your photos.

Shipping

Color Picks currently ships to US addresses only. Production typically takes 5–7 business days, and shipping typically takes an additional 3–5 business days. These are estimates, not guarantees; carrier delays can add time. You'll receive tracking information once your book ships.
